Elementary Schools will be released at 12:45 pm.

You can help your school keep one or more of them for an entire school year next year and enjoy the bragging rights if you do your best on the upcoming End-of-Year assessments (NM-MSSA, ASR, and SAT) in April. LAMS BASEBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION
TRYOUTS Feb 5th & 6th @ Candelaria Sports Complex
• Please drop off your child at 3:45 PM
• Tryouts are closed to parent’s/family members. We are asking parents to DROP OFF players and return to pick them up at the designated time. The park is not open at this time and gates will be locked at 4 pm. Parents will need to exit the park and return to pick up their child at 5:30 pm
• Athletes will be evaluated by staff and coaches in a series of Skills that mirror the skill set needed to play baseball at a competitive level.
• Stations will be used and all the coaches will have an evaluation sheet to complete the evaluation for all players. No names will be used.
• Players will attend in Baseball/Softball related attire, and baseball cleats if you have them. For Baseball- If the player does not have a BBcorp certified bat a Certified Bat will be provided for the hitting section of the tryout.
• Players that make the cut and are invited back the next day, (February 6th) will be notified by number which will be posted on hard copy on the front door of the main entrance into LAMS.
• Please bring Water and a great attitude. We are excited to get our program going.
